Enter 2006, goodbye 2005

Happy New Year! I apologize for taking a hiatus from my blog during the holidays. It's just something about the downtime during the holidays that makes everything slow down.

Christmas and New Years were great! Did the usual stuff. Took time to see family and friends.

I did escape the embarrassing gift exchange of a desktop calendar that typically go unused. I wonder what percentage of those things just end up collecting dust by Feb 1st?

I also turned the big 30 last week. The worst part about turning 30 is all the "old man" jokes. Other than that, everything went smooth. No new aches and pains, yet.
